Cove View Club Championship
August 23 @ 1:00 pm – August 24 @ 2:00 pm
The Men’s Club championship is a two day tournament, August 23-24. 18 Holes are played both days. On Friday, players will sign up for tee times and can choose your pairing. Saturday will be a shotgun start and pairings will be made based on Friday’s results. This is the final event for the Stubbs Insurance Cove View Cup.
The Club championship will award a Club Champion, a Sr. Club Champion (50-64), Super Sr. Club Champ (65+), and a Junior Club Champion. As well as a Net Club Champion for those same age groups.
There will only be one gross/ net payout.
Anyone is eligible to play, as long as they pay membership dues. To play for the Net Club Champ or receive Cup points players must have played in at least 6 Cove View Cup events throughout the year. If you have played less than 6 events you will only be competing for gross club Championship.
100 bonus points will be given to the low gross and low net player.
For Cove View Cup Points, there will be four separate flights; A Flight, B Flight, C Flight, and D Flight. Players will receive points in their flight gross/net.
The point breakdown is as follows:
1st place 200 points
2nd place 160 points
3rd place 150 points
4th place 140 points
5th place 130 points
6th place 120 points
7th place 110 points
8th place 100 points
9th place 90 points
10th place 80 points
Forty (40) Points will be given to everyone who participates but doesn’t place.
